Hook Dental is located at Stanley House, London Road, Hook, Hampshire, RG27 9GA. This is on the roundabout in the centre of the village of Hook, next to Boots the chemist.
We have a private, free car park at the front of our practice and a pay and display car park conveniently situated across the road.
From Basingstoke > Leaving Basingstoke, take the A30 east. After approx. three miles cross a traffic light junction and a little further on you enter the village of Hook. Hook Dental is located on the roundabout in the centre of the village next to the chemist shop.
From Camberley >
Leave Camberley, going west along the A30 travelling through Hartley Wintney, Phoenix Green and Murrell Green. As you approach Hook, continue over the first mini-roundabout and into the centre of the village. Hook Dental is on the next roundabout next to the chemist shop.
From the M3 >
Leave the M3 at junction 5 and take the B3349 north towards Hook. At the next roundabout go straight ahead and then pass Tesco (on your right). Continue over the railway bridge and into the centre of the village. Hook Dental is located on the next roundabout between the White Hart Pub and the chemist shop.
From the M4 >
Leave the M4 at junction 11 and take the A33 south towards Hook. After approx. three miles of dual carriageway take the next roundabout left signposted to Hook. Turn right at the next roundabout (after ¼ mile) onto the B3349. After approximately five miles of winding road, passing through the villages of Heckfield, Hound Green and Mattingly and then Hook. Approaching, you will see the Hook Garden Centre (on your left). Turn right at the next roundabout, onto the A30 and pass the Texaco service station and the White Hart Pub (both on your left). Hook Dental is next door to the pub.
We welcome patients of all abilities. If you are disabled or are unable to visit our surgery, please call us and we will do our best to help.
Hook Dental has completely level access from the car park at the front, over the pavement and throughout the treatment areas, and there is ample turning space for wheelchairs. Tactile paving and disabled call points are available at the main entrance and we also have a dedicated disabled toilet and full size lift for easy access to all floors.
Feedback and complaints
We aim to make your treatment as pleasant as possible every time you visit us. However, if you feel you have not been treated as you would have liked, or are dissatisfied with any aspect of our practice, we want to know. It is only through hearing from you that we can help and improve our service.
Please mention your concerns in the first instance to your dentist. Hook Dental operates an in-house complaints procedure for both private and NHS patients that adheres to nationally agreed criteria. We aim to respond to verbal complaints within 24 hours and written ones within three working days.
If you are still not happy and would like to take things further, our private patients can contact The Dental Complaints organisation. Their website can be found at www.dentalcomplaints.org.uk and here you will find an online form to fill in. Alternatively, they can be contacted by phone on 08456 120 540. Our NHS patients should contact the NHS commissioning board on 0300 311 22 33 or www.england.nhs.uk/contact-us/complaint/
Emergency cancellation policy
Please give as much notice as possible if you have to cancel an appointment in an emergency. Please call on 01256 762353. For a genuine emergency cancellation, there will be no charge. With other cancellations, we will try to fill your allocated time with another patient but reserve the right to charge if we are unable to do so.
